Summit of Ministers of Health of China and Central and East European Countries in Prague

Delegation of the Republic of Serbia, led by Minister of Health Zlatibor Lončar, participated in the Summit of Ministers of Health of China and Central and Eastern European Countries in Prague from June 15-17, 2015.
 
 
 
 
 
Visit of the members of Association of the descendants of Serbian soldiers from 1912-1920
 
Members of the Association of descendants of Serbian soldiers from 1912-1920 and members of the Association of Veterans of Serbian soldiers visited the Embassy. During their visit to Czech Republic, they visited "Hram Uspenja Presvete Bogorodice" in Olšany Cemetery in Prague, as well as Terezin Memorial and Jindrihovice Mausoleum.
 
 
 
Business Forum in Prague

Serbian-Czech Business Forum was held on June 3, 2015 with the participation of 14 Serbian and 30 Czech companies. Serbian delegation was led by President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Marko Čadež.

 

Laying garland at the Terezin Memorial 

The traditional commemorative ceremony dedicated to the victims of fascism in World War II was held on May 17, 2015 at the Terezin Memorial. The ceremony was attended by representatives of state and politicians of the Czech Republic, the diplomatic corps, religious communities and veterans' associations. President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman, among others, addressed to the participants.

Upon completion of the official ceremony Ambassador Vera Mavric laid a garland with inscription "The Republic of Serbia - Gavrilo Princip" in front of the cell in which was Gavrilo Princip imprisoned from 1914 to 1918.

 
Ambassador's visit to Ustecky region
 
President of Ustecky region Oldrich Bubeníček received Ambassador Vera Mavrić and Chief of the South Banat district Zoran Tasić, during which they discussed the implementation of the projects for which funding was approved by the Czech Development Agency Service.

 

 
"Battle of the Nations" in Prague
 
National team of the Republic of Serbia that participates at the World Championships in medieval martial arts "Battle of the Nations" in Prague from May 8-11, 2015, was admitted to the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia.

 
Laying garland at the Dablice cemetery
 
To mark the 70th anniversary of the End of World War II, organized by the Czech association of fighters for freedom, on May 6, 2015, the tribute was given to the victims of the Nazism. On behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Prague, consuller Stefan Tomasevic laid a garland at the Dablice cemetery. The ceremony of laying garlands was attended by representatives of the institutions of the Czech Republic and the diplomatic corps.

 

Visit by Chairperson of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandra Djurovic Parliament of the Czech Republic

President of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandra Djurovic, along with the presidents of the Foreign Affairs Committees of Parliaments of South East Europe - Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatian and Montenegro, visited the Parliament of the Czech Republic, 27-28. April 2015, at the invitation of Karel Schwarzenberg, chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic.
 
During the visit, they exchanged opinions on the dynamics of the enlargement of the European Union, regional cooperation and cooperation within the Visegrad Group. In addition to discussions with the owner Karel Schwarzenberg, President of the Foreign Affairs Committees of Parliaments of South-Eastern Europe also had talks with Zdenka Brozova, Vice President of the Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security of the Senate, and John Sramek, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. Lubomir Zaoralek, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic was also received by the President of the Foreign Affairs Committees of Parliaments of South East Europe.
 
 
 
 
The exhibition "The Art of outsiders Serbia" in Prague
 
The Museum of Charles Bridge in Prague on 9 April OG an exhibition titled "The Art of outsiders Serbia", organized by the Museum of Naïve and Marginal Art in Jagodina. The exhibition was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Information R. Serbia, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic Serbia and the Association "Luka Lu" in Prague.

On the occasion of the great success at the European Championships in the hall, the Embassy organized a reception for our athletes and delegation of the Athletic Federation of Serbia.

 

 

 

Hosting theater "Mask" in Prague

Under the auspices of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Prague and organized by the "Swallow", 15 February 2015 in the theater "Metro" in Prague were played of "Klara, something unexpected happened" and "monodrama about Zoran Radmilović" Theatre "Mask" from Sabac. 

 

Forum "Let My People Live"

Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic participated in the international forum "Let My People Live", which was held in Prague on 26 and 27 January 2015, in order to draw attention to the growing anti-Semitism and extremism in the world and find a solution for problems related to religious intolerance. In addition to the Forum in Terezin, the camp from which the Jews were transported to Auschwitz, there was a memorial and a monument to the victims of the Holocaust.

 

Charity bazaar in Prague

Embassy of the Republic of Serbia on 16 November 2014, participated in the Charity Bazaar in Prague, which is traditionally held every year under the patronage of the first lady of the Czech Republic, Mrs. Ivan Zeman.

 

Visit by Aleksandar Vulin Terezin

During his visit to the Czech Republic, 15 November 2014, the Minister for Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin, visited the Terezin and on this occasion laid a wreath in memory of Gavrilo Princip.

 

Marking Armistice Day in World War I

In commemoration of Armistice Day in WWI representative of the Embassy, advisor Stefan Tomasevic laid a wreath at the Mausoleum in Jinžihovicama in memory of the 7100 victims of the Serbs in detention camps throughout the territory of the Czech Republic during the First World War.

 

Visit to Terezin

In the week marking Armistice Day in World War I, the representatives of the Republic Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments - Belgrade, together with a counselor at the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia Stefan Tomasevic, November 10, 2014, visited Terezin and on this occasion laid a wreath in memory of Gavrilo Princip.

 
Visit to Ustecky region
 
On the occasion of the cooperation of the South Banat district and Usteckog region, at the invitation of Mr. Oldrich Bubeníčků, Chief Usteckog region, counselor at the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Prague S.Tomašević, attended the opening of the photo exhibition which is dedicated to successful cooperation in the fields of health and education.

Maja Gojkovic, president of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia visited with a delegation of 8 October 2014, the Czech Republic, at the invitation of the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Jana HAMAČEK.
 
During the visit were achieved with President Milos Zeman, Foreign Minister Lubomir Zaoralek and Deputy President of the Senate Premysl Sobotka of the Czech Republic.

Painting exhibition "Prague school and Slovenian painters of the South", September 23, 2014

Commemoration of St. Vitus in Jindrihovicama
 
On St. Vitus Day, 28 June 2014 in front of the crypt Serbian soldiers killed in autrougarskim camps in World War I, served the liturgy and memorial service was held in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia Vera Mavric, President karlovarskog J region. Nowotny, Consul General of the Russian Federation from Karlovy Vary, Dejan Randjelovic, guards the crypt and a large number of Serbian and Czech citizens.
Ambassador Vera Mavric laid a wreath and addressed the audience with a speech.

Charity concert for flood relief in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia was held on 26 June in the theater "Korruni" organized by the "Swallow" in Prague. After the concert, the ambassadors of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Croatian were awarded letters of thanks for cooperation in gathering aid.

Orthodox parish of Holy Prince Lazar in Prague organized the 3rd of June in the House of National Minorities concert of spiritual music mixed choir Holy Archdeacon Stefan from Kraljevo and Krupanj. On that occasion were collected and voluntary contributions for guests from flooded Krupanj. During his stay in Prague choir members together with the priest Srdjan Jablanović visited the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia.

The traditional commemorative ceremony dedicated to the victims of fascism in World War II was held on May 18, 2014 at the National Cemetery in Terezin. The ceremony was attended by representatives of state bodies and political life of the Czech Republic, the diplomatic corps, religious communities, and veterans associations. The participants, among others, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Bohuslav Sobotka.
 
Upon completion of the official ceremony Ambassador Vera Mavric laid a wreath in front of the cell in which the 1914-1918. he was imprisoned Gavrilo Princip, with the text "Republic of Serbia - Gavrilo Princip."
 
 
Concert of music school "Petar Konjović" in Prague
 
In the Hall of Culture "Mlejn Stodulky" in Prague 5, 14th May 2014, a concert was held Belgrade music school "Petar" cooperation with an art school Stodulka from Prague. Belgrade Chamber Choir Festival in Brno on April 25, 2014
 
Belgrade Chamber Choir conducted by Vladimir Markovic appeared on April 25 in the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul in Brno at the prestigious International Music Festival. The festival is traditionally held every year in the organization of the Brno State Philharmonic, and many music lovers for the first time was presented to Serbian spiritual music. The concert was held under the patronage of the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia Vera Mavric.

In Prague, April 2-4, 2014 delegation of the Army of Serbia, headed by the Chief of General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic. During the visit, the delegation met with the owner, Peter Paul, Chief of Staff of the Army of the Czech Republic and the Czech Republic Defence Minister Martin Stropnickim. General Diković and members of the delegation visited the mausoleum in Jinžihovicama, where they laid a wreath in honor of the victims of Serbian prisoners were killed in the First World War.
